In Canada's ever-evolving legalization space, hundreds of cannabis brands are vying for consumers’ attention amidst some of the toughest marketing regulations globally. How do you drive brand awareness and saliency when outside of age-gated mediums, branding isn’t an option and deeper education is forbidden? You create a real-world visual metaphor for the brand’s benefits and immerse consumers into a fantastical journey, illuminating each strain in an unignorable, transformative way.
Tokyo Smoke Get Lifted was a lo-fi hi design experiential activation that took our core target on a different kind of trip. Through sight, sound, smell and movement, passengers travelled to intents rather than floors. Clad in bespoke stainless steel panels that stretched nearly 20 feet into the sky, every inch of the monolithic mirrored structure was designed to be impossible to ignore.
